It would be great to have everyone there so please bring yourselves, your axe, your drinks, snacks and your instruments. The kids are more than welcome to join us too. The more the merrier as they say.

And just so you know, the last class before Christmas is on Thursday 15th December, and then we’ll be back on the 9th January 2012.

I would like to tell you about one more guest that we will host during the week before our event. His name is Doria  and he has a long experience in samba and acrobatics. He will be leading sessions from Monday 21^st in Edinburgh and Glasgow that will consist of body alignment, acrobatics and samba. He is also a famous physiotherapist that has helped many capoeiristas in Brazil with their injuries through a program that identifies muscular, skeletal and behavioral dysfunctions. He is credited with enabling Mestre Marrom back to playing capoeira after an injury kept him away from rodas for a long time. He will be available for private sessions where he will design a program especially for you. I advice you to book it if you have old injuries as I do. I am having a session my self.

He will teaching a open class on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm in Edinburgh and Wednesday in Glasgow from 6pm.

He will be also be leading a class during the weekend of our event.

Unfortunately we have just been told that  there will be no class at Walpole tonight, Monday 14th November, due to a gas leak which they are in the process of fixing. Sorry about that guys. Tomorrow classes are on as usual.
